Getting to the Point of the Problem. These words have become the backbone of Pointsource Processing and have been the driving force behind the mission of the company to date. This is the first of many news updates to come and everyone at Pointsource is excited to have the website up and running. There will be a few changes in the coming months, so please be patient and we look forward to assisting you in all your environmental matters.
On the “ABOUT US” tab you will find a background of the company and a small bio on the CEO- Nigel Bosworth, who was originally based in Glasgow Scotland and now runs the company in the beautiful west coast of British Columbia, Canada. Being in an area so rich with wildlife and many of that being in the Oceans, Rivers and Lakes, Mr. Bosworth was passionate about doing what he could to help protect this pristine environment. Some of the technologies that Pointsource have to offer include: Custom designed mobile treatment systems designed to remove both hydrocarbons and heavy metals from water. Being a modular system design the units can range from less than 1GPM to more than 1MGPD (Million Gallons per Day). Environmental cleaners and site protection units are also an important aspect to the company that is always looking to Getting to the Point of the Problem.
Glycol Removal: 14.01.2012
Pointsource is just about to launch its “Glycol Removal Filter” that removes glycol from water in a very fast reaction that allows the water to be further treated for other contaminants before direct discharge to the location of your choice. Glycol is one of the hardest contaminants to remove from water and it is found in small amounts in many waste streams especially at car dealerships where the antifreeze barrels and oil barrels can become mixed up and have a concentration of both in the drum. With this filter you would no longer need to send the drum away for incineration at a large cost and could just remove the glycol prior to removing the other contaminants at your facility.
